HOW THE FUCK DID WE GET HERE? KIDS SHOOTING KIDS!
To any and all that have seen the news about yet another school shooting in Denver… please know… our kids are safe.
It was literally 3 weeks ago, I was writing a post infuriated that this problem exists and that the ENTIRE Denver school system shut down because of a potential threat for school shootings from an 18yo girl who ended up killing herself that day.
The 2 people that did the shooting TODAY are in custody and it was mentioned that they are not sure if they are from the school yet… and to me this implies… AGAIN… they are young kids who did this.
There are 8 middle school aged kids in hospital, some in critical condition.
I will keep asking this question…

These same kids can’t even go buy ALCOHOL or in Colorado… cannabis…
But they can get a GUN and get into a school with it and shoot people.
I just don’t have any words for it.
AMERICANS… we are better than this.
Americans who want guns… there MUST BE a way we can come to the middle on this… you can have your guns, but make the laws tighter so that KIDS don’t get them…
Make the laws so that mental health checks are done…
Make the laws so that semi-automatic weapons can’t be sold…
Go…take your shot gun… go hunting… but for the love of the next generation… LEAVE MY KIDS ALONE.
KEEP THEM SAFE.
KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE.
