I am LUCKY

I just heard someone say…

“I am lucky… I was raised in a family where i was told I could do whatever I want… that I am smart and beautiful, etc…”

I find my self saying the same thing a LOT recently… I am LUCKY that i was raised in a family that told me I could be, do and have everything… not only told me but showed me. They were a living breathing example of the ideal, dream life… Love, massive career success, financial opulence, health… they had and have it all.

That word… LUCKY… We say it because… I will speak for myself but I would guess she would agree…

I hear enough stories as I help people overcome their negative beliefs and shift their mindset of the horrendous situations they grew up in… And I know that my upbringing is in the minority.

I look forward to the day where this woman and I aren’t telling the story as we are the “lucky ones”… because that positive, empowering mindset… that belief system to be passed down will be the norm. And the crappy BS that people tell their kids will be the massive minority.

Won’t that be a fricking amazing day?

It’s my favourite part of parenting… raising conscious kids who will change this planet, simply because they don’t know anything else. It’s all in the BELIEFS you pass onto your kids that we get to shape the future and create a place where this is norm.
