KEEP PLANTING SEEDS… YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THEY WILL GROW…

Maybe you have done webinars in the past, gone to networking meetings, worked with people, done speaking gigs, been on podcasts, created videos, wrote content… somehow, in some way… you connected with people… you spoke to people and shared your message…

Then look at your conversion rate or think… did I get clients from going there or whatever way you have at looking at your “return on investment”.

But here is the thing that so many people MISS…

YOU ARE BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS!

*** (I will say this over and over again until I’m blue in the face… if that’s what it takes for you to get this. )

IF you continue to talk to the people you meet. They get to know you and eventually…when they know, like and trust you… they may feel aligned to work with you.

you can’t know the effect of any of those touch points you have with people.

This writing piece came to me as I made a payment to Sarah-Jane Crossley… for the WILD GODDESS RETREAT in IBIZA that I am going to in September.

I was introduced to SJ when she did a combined webinar with someone I know that does retreats and teaches about them… Liesel Albrecht…

I liked SJ’s energy and ideas and started following her on FB.

Awhile later (months to a year) I ran into her at a festival in Byron Bay. I remember being “nervous” to introduce myself to her. She was pregnant and oozed radiance and confidence. So… it must be just over 2 years ago that happened.

It was a short but impactful conversation… We talked about how she was nervous about how her gypsy life would change when she had the baby. I know she won’t mind me sharing this… Because I know I’m in the minority of women who said to her…

You can keep travelling. You can continue with your gypsy life AND have a baby. It changes. Travel is different. It has more challenges, but also so much joy and kids never need to be the thing that stop you from creating your dreams.

She has gone on to live the most beautiful representation of the “Mother-Priestess” as she calls it… as she continues to travel the world putting on deep and transformational retreats whilst juggling the crazy balance of that with motherhood.

This life of travel with kids, the adventures, the open road… it’s not for everyone, but for those of us called to it… it’s definitely for us. And of course… in relationship building… it’s something that ALIGNS my soul to SJ.

AND… it’s through years of relationship building and the “right timing” that I am FINALLY going to embark on a transformational journey with this incredible soul in September.

By the time we meet there… it will be years of courtship, 15 minutes of meeting in person, not one sales call or conversation… and just a big fat YES to embracing in IBIZA.

And yet… it feels like 2 soul sisters that will unite.

PLUS the other sisters that will gather that are all absolutely aligned to be there with me at this moment in time to create the most epic week of surrender, love, trust, journeys, deep internal soul work, laughter, joy, tears… ALL OF THE BEAUTY that comes with sitting in a powerful circle of women.

My heart is open and ready for this journey now.

AND… I am writing this to tell you…

YOU NEVER KNOW WHERE YOU TOUCH SOMEONE THAT WILL TURN INTO A CLIENT ONE DAY.

I bet as SJ reads this… she may not even know that’s how I found her.

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS.

You are in the business of working with HUMAN BEINGS.

BE WITH THEM.

AND let go of attachment to who your next client is…

LET GO of ROI and being able to know EXACTLY what that is…

Because that number certainly wouldn’t include a 3-year courtship! LOL
